Seasonal Herb, straight. hairy. High stem 30-50 cm. branched, with rough longitudinal line. Growing up on the sidewalk, lawn, mountain slopes. Leaves are having an layout up to lancet oval round shape, the tip and leaf base tapering, serrated edge, length 2.5 to 8 cm, width 1.5 to 3.5 cm. Flowers unisexual and settle one, out of the axillary
leaves, small flowers in a series of panicle. The fruit is small. The roots of this plant is favored by dogs and cats. In China the plant is known by the name Tie xian.

Chemical and Pharmacological Effect:
Taste bitter, astringent, cool. Anti-inflammatory, antibiotics, urine laxative, astringent to stop bleeding (hemostatic).

Curable Disease:
Basiler dysentery and amoebic dysentery, diarrhea, malnutrition, nosebleeds, vomiting blood, bloody defecation, blood urine, Malaria.
